Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 121/KH-UBND dated January 5^th, 2019 on organizing Highlands Cuisine Competition in the framework of the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, 2019.

Participants are restaurants, hotels and travelling businesses and catering service enterprises in the province, the Central Highlands region, and Korea’s Jeollabuk province (if any).

It is expected that about 50 to 60 booths will display, introduce and sell local specialties on this occasion. The Competition Organization Board will free all charges related to land renting, electricity and water for the Competition’s contestants as well as additionally support each contestant with an amount of VND one million to cook the dish.

The registration will be from the date of notification to the end of February 15^th, 2019. Ko Tam Ecotourism Village will fund the Competition.

The Competition “Highlands Cuisine” aims to honor and promote the specialty cuisine of the ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands region; contributing to enrich the local cuisine as well as other provinces in the Central Highlands region.
